William 1st February 2023

Good morning beautiful Topsy. I was given another egg sandwich and a cup of tea yesterday little girl, but I was so hungry, I choked on the first half of the sandwich… as that evil old ogre used to say to me, that will teach me to be greedy. I managed to eat the other half though, and the cup of tea was wonderful. I left here earlier so that I did not get in the way of so many muttering, ignorant odd humans on the way home. It was just as bad as the day before, but I am not leaving here any earlier. As soon as I got in, well after I had taken my hoodie off, and said hello, I went to feed George, and when I had given her a packet of food, I looked out there for that little black cat. He ran in as soon as I opened the doors, and I took him a saucer of food out there, which he soon finished, so I gave him another one, and he was still hungry, so I gave him a packet of that ham I have in the fridge. When George had eaten three packets of food, I let her out, and the ham was almost gone. George started finishing that off, so I got my drink ready for the evening, and got upstairs out of the way to that cold, lonely room… just two months ago, I had an excitable little Molly waiting for me, now I am stuck there all on my own. When I went back down there to get my hot drink, I would have liked to get a large bowl of noodles, but the last time I tried that when my poor Mum was in hospital, my sister was waiting for me to get out of the way so she could cook herself and something else a big fry-up. After I had got,out the way last night, I was in bed a bit earlier than usual, though I would have liked it to have been earlier. I overslept this morning, and as soon as I got down there to the kitchen, I let George in, fed her, got a wash, fed her, and brushed my teeth. Someone is even helping theirselves to my toothpaste, which I cannot believe, but should, probably the toothbrush as well for all I know… disgusting things have been done with my toothbrush before, but not since I was a kid. I left home half an hour after I had wanted to, but even at that time, I managed to get in someones barging way as I got out of the lane, and then it was the same more or less all the way here, and I was told off for being early. My poor Mum had been moved again, this time from the nice quiet room with a window, to a noisy old ward with a big-mouthed, foul-mouthed old trout that just walks in and out as it wants too. It disappeared for two hours, and when asked where it had been, it said the bathroom. I am so hungry and thirsty, but if I want a sandwich, I have to go down to the ground floor, and look around for a couple of hours before I find the shop, so I am not going to bother. That big-mouthed, foul-mouthed odd thing is really doing my head in, it is as if it is doing it to annoy me… if it is like this tomorrow little girl, I will not be able to come on here to Molly, Charlie, and you, I am sorry. I love you Topsy, I do love you little girl, and I do miss you, I miss you so much my beautiful, brave little friend. XxX
