Good morning beautiful Topsy. Something was supposed to be going out of here long before I went downstairs just before midday yesterday, as Molly’s tray needed a throughly good scrubbing. Of course, when I got down there, it was waiting for me to get out the way, but I had a look for poor Percy first, then came up here to make the bed, made my poor Mum her tea, and then got out the way. I was made to wait until an hour after midday before I could go down there with Molly’s tray. I stayed down there for a while, but did not want to risk any longer, as when something goes out with that big old trolley, it comes charging through the front door backwards, and is a terrifying thing to witness. I had not been sat down long, when I heard one of those deep-throated old trollops from over there, and it was swearing and bellowing at that screaming idiot. The rest of the afternoon was kind of quiet, but about an hour before I went down there in the evening, it started again. This time it was a big-mouthed bloke, and was shouting and bellowing at the big fence, then a load of them started. If that was not enough, then that crazed lunatic started with its squawking, screaming, and screeching… and that went on for five hours. When I went down there to the kitchen to get something to eat, the noise was so bad, I had to get straight back up here without anything. I had to close the big window, but I could still hear them, so I put a film on, and turned the sound up. When the film finished two hours later, the racket was even louder, and when I went down there to get out the way with Molly last night, it was even worse, so I was up here even quicker than usual. It just went on and on until about an hour and a half before midnight, when it went quiet… then about an hour before midnight, it started up again, and was even louder. It was so loud, I could clearly hear them, even though the big window was closed, and I had those wax things pushed deep in my ears. I have no idea when I finally fell asleep, but I was not very happy when I woke up at exactly the same time as I did yesterday. It was only when I got up that I realised that the time had changed, and that I had really overslept. When I got down there to the kitchen, I heard George crying loudly, and when I opened the garden doors, she flew in meowing loudly… there was still no poor Percy though. I gave George her food, but she was so hungry that I gave her another packet, then let her out with ham. I got back up here before I got in anythings way, but went back down there at the usual time that I do to see how Percy is doing, and looked out there into the garden for him. He was not there, and it was raining, so I called out, but not even George came running, so I got back up here out the way. I took Molly with me when I went to make the coffee, looked out there for Percy, but there was still no sign of him, and when I took my poor Mum her coffee, something was angrily waiting for me to get out the way. Not long after I had sat down, I heard a great big mouth going, and then it went away… hopefully, that will be all I hear today, but I doubt it very much. There we go, the smell of huge breakfasts sizzling away. I love you so much Topsy, and I miss you so much too little girl. XxX
