William 3rd June 2022

Good morning beautiful Topsy. There is not much about yesterday that I can remember little girl, though I was upset because it was Charlie’s seventh Angel Day, I cannot believe that so much time has gone by so quickly. I still had that rotten headache when I went down there to the kitchen at midday, and I had to take more pain relief thingies in the afternoon, but it was still thumping away when I went back down there late yesterday afternoon. Of course, I had to be quick, as something was already waiting for me to get out of the way before I had even got down there. This time I had to get out of the way because it was waiting to go clumping round to the chip shop for a great pile of fish and chips, but how dopey me being in the kitchen is in the way, I do not know. I was in to much pain to bother, and got back up here out of its greedy, gobbling, shovelling, chip chomping, whole fish champing way. I had a small bowl of noodles last evening, and even then, I had to get out of the way again, and I cannot remember if George came for any food. I wanted to get in bed when I got out of the way again with Molly last night, but there was some terrible noises coming from somewhere out there. I do not know who it was, I was in too much pain, but whatever it was, it was trying to sing, and it sounded as if they were being castrated with two bricks. I cannot remember how many times I woke up during the night, just that when I woke up this morning, that headache was back, and I had to take some pain relief tablets as soon as I got up. George was crying at the garden doors when I got down there, but just poor Percy ran in when I opened them, George just dithered around. She came in before I had their food ready, and they ate it all, unlike yesterday, when most of it was left. When I let George out, I was greeted with a huge hiss from that tiny black kitten, I threw ham out there for them, and it was soon gone. I took some more out before I got poor Percy’s ready, and went to stroke the black kitten… and it growled loudly at me, just as your Katie did. I came back inside, gave poor Percy his food, and got back up here before something much bigger and hairier started growling at me. I had to get out of the way when I went back down there to make the coffee, but I managed to give Percy some more food before I could be barged out of the way and trampled on. This headache is hurting so much, I cannot go on little girl. All I want to do is sit back in this chair… oh, and Molly still has the hump with me, she is sitting there with her back to me. I do not believe it, that crosseyed lunatic has just come waddling out with a ball, and it is squawking away like a seagull… I hope that it squawks something in seagullease, and a flock of them attack it. I love you so much Topsy, and I miss you so much too you beautiful brave little girl. XxX
