Good morning beautiful Topsy. There was just one time yesterday that cheered me up little girl, and that was just after something came crashing through the big scary old door, and when I was eventually allowed to go down there to the kitchen. To my amazement, poor Percy was still in, and when I spoke to him, he jumped off Charlie’s chair by the scary old washing machine, and finished the food that was on his saucer. When he had done that, he meowed to go out, but I would have rather he stayed in, and with George as well. There was a nasty old scary storm heading this way, with horrid odd winds, and nasty old freezing rain… but George was not out there, and poor Percy had to go out. I managed to get a cuddle from him before I let him out, and when I had done that, my poor Mum told me that something all large and hairy was waiting for me to get out of its way. I could not believe it, the blasted thing had just come back, barging me out of the way when I usually go down with Molly. However, it gets what it wants, just as the old ogre when he would jump up and down, and slap his legs, so I made my poor Mum her coffee, and got back up here out of its sharp-toothed, frothing at the mouth way. I had to get up here out of the way so quickly, I forgot to get my big woolly old jumper from the hallway. I did not dare to go back down there for it, and I am so sick of the snorting, sighing, and the thundering in and out of the room that I go in to talk to my poor Mum and little sister, I did not bother doing that either. That is another leaf out of the evil old ogres book on "ways of getting old dumb-dumb out of the room," old dumb-dumb was the nickname that he gave me when I was four, because I did not know the answer to a question that he asked me. The question was about something that he did at his work, in between gobbling, guzzling, gossiping, and playing games that is. I did not know that blokes gossiped until I started work at sixteen, as he had insisted I pay my way… he wanted to throw me out on my sixteenth birthday, as he and something else was fed up with me scrounging off my poor Mum. She knew nothing about it until I came down the stairs on my birthday, and was not happy with them at all. Because I caused an argument, that meant another thumping when my poor Mum was at work that evening and night, and I had to stay in that small, cold room with no light or heat as punishment. Anyway little girl, I got my big woolly jumper when I was allowed back down there late yesterday afternoon, which was just after something came slithering up the stairs. I had to get out the way quickly, as that something was waiting for another great feed. Dopey daft me… I had to get out the way quickly when I went back down there last evening, so I had to make do with noodles again, which I choked on, and then I choked on my hot drink. All I had yesterday was a few biscuits in the morning with my one mug of coffee that I have had to cut down to, as coffee, sugar, cream, and milk is being grabbed and guzzled down quicker than ever before… a big bag of sugar has gone in just three days. After I had got out the way with Molly last night, I got into bed, but I do not know if I had a good night yet. I was awake an hour before I used to get up, but I got up to go and let poor Percy and George in, as they were out there in the storm. When I opened the garden doors, they were not there, so I called them, and they both ran in together. I gave them both a good feed, and when George finished, she wanted to go out, so I let her out with a big lump of ham. Just after I had washed my hands, I went back into the kitchen to see poor Percy, and he was yowing to go out, I tried to keep him in, but he insisted, so I let him out… which was a good job, as he wanted the bathroom, or whatever cats call it out there. I waited on Percy as he ploughed around the piles of leaves that I had swept up, and George ran in, she went for his saucer of food, so I had to move it, I cannot remember if she had eaten that ham. When Percy came back in, I left them in the kitchen, and got back up here out the way. I went back down to see them about an hour later, and gave them that saucer of food to share, then got out the way. I had to let them out when I went back down to make the coffee, but they wanted to go anyway, then I came up here for Molly. I had to be quick down there in the kitchen, as something was waiting for me to get out of its huge fried breakfast gobbling way. I got up here with a few biscuits, that for some unknown reason, I was actually able to eat… that was a big woolly surprise little girl. I came smell huge fried breakfasts sizzling away, down there, there are two huge tubs of mushrooms in the fridge, but they will be gone by the time that I get down there just before midday. I used to like mushrooms, but I came back here with two tubs one day, and by the time I went down there to the kitchen in the late afternoon, they had both been grabbed, cooked, and gobbled down. It must be really cold little girl… I am wearing a big woolly jumper, and Molly is right at the back of her catcave, there should be some snow soon. I love you Topsy, I love you so much little girl, and I miss you, I miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
