Good morning beautiful Topsy. I cannot remember if those swamp dogs were barking yesterday morning little girl, but about an hour before I went down there to the kitchen, it came over very dark, and started pouring down. I was worried about Percy and George being out there in the gardens, but I could not go downstairs to look out there, as something that is very wide, very heavy, and very snorty was on patrol in the hallway. When I was able to get down there, I looked out there into the gardens, but I could not see them. As usual, something was sitting there like a pregnant moose, waiting for me to get out of the way, but they were in for a big woolly surprise… I came back up here to make the bed, then bathed my finger, and took ages to get the coffee ready. By the time that I took my poor Mum’s coffee into one of the rooms for her, it had a face on it that looked like thunder. Molly had followed me down, and had come into the room with me, and something had a great big pair of clodhoppers near them, and they made Molly arch her back, and jump backwards. I cannot remember if Molly hissed, but I got back up here quickly before any wild trumpeting and snorting started. It was pouring down all afternoon, which meant that it was quiet for a change, but that is all I can remember until I went back down in the late afternoon. I had just enough time to cut some blue cheese before I had to get back up here out the way, as walls were shaking, and lampshades were swinging back and forth because something was waiting to be fed. I cannot remember anything after that, not until I went back down there for my soup last evening, and even then, I had to get out of the way quickly again. I made sure that I got Molly’s food and water up here first, then got my soup ready. I think that I had just got in here when I heard the thundering of hooves galloping down the hallway… when I had finished my soup, I took a chance, and went back down to see if Molly was okay. Just after I had brought Molly up here last night, it started raining again, then there was a good old fashioned, thundering old thunderstorm, which went on for ages. I was worried about Percy and George again, but there was nothing that I could do. I had an awful night, I was awake early again this morning, and felt as if I had been dragged through a hedge backwards. I felt so bad that I forgot to get the food ready before I opened the garden doors, and George stood there howling until I had her food ready. After she had finished, I let her out with a big lump of ham, gave Percy some more food, then got back up here out of the way before something came barging down the hallway. Percy wanted more food when I got back down there to make the coffee, so I gave him a load of biscuits before I took my poor Mum’s coffee into one of the rooms for her. Of course, there was something waiting for me to get out of the way, so up here I got. I have to go to the banks four towns away tomorrow little girl, so I will not be able to come in here to Charlie and you, but I will be back on here the day after. I love you Topsy, I love you so much little girl, and I miss you, I miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
