Good morning beautiful Topsy. When I got down there to the kitchen just before midday yesterday, poor Percy had been shoved out, but at least something else had gone out as well. I did not stay down there for long, and just made some coffee, then got back up here. Those blasted swamp dogs made the afternoon almost unbearable, and were barking so much, I almost lost it with them… thankfully, I managed to stay calm. There was also someone working on that big old house over the back there that is never finished… the noise that they were making was almost as irritating as the noise the swamp dogs were making, but at least it finally stopped. When I went down there to the kitchen late yesterday afternoon, something was already waiting for me to get out of its way so that it could be fed, half a loaf of bread had already disappeared from the fridge earlier for a big feed. I had got a piece of fish out of the freezer at midday, and had got that ready, and I just had enough time to chop some mushrooms before I had to get out the way again. There was a couple of spuds in a pan, spuds that something could have had no trouble swallowing whole, but I would have them mashed. I had to get out of the way so quickly, I forgot to ask for the big old oven to be left on, but I did not dare go back down there in case of wild trumpeting. I went back down there earlier than I usually do last evening, and was looking forward to eating something different than soup for a change… but of course, something had to go wrong. The big old oven had not even been fired up, so I would be down there for much longer than the half an hour I am allowed so I could cook the fish, and something was already twitching away, wanting to come thundering down the hallway. I got some blue cheese and crisps, and got back up here out of that blasted warthogs snorting way. I went back down there a few times to see if Molly was okay, and when I went down there to get her last night, I went in one of the rooms to see my poor Mum. As I walked in there, something was splothered across one of the settees, grinning like a drunken walrus that has just sat down on a sharpened fencepost. It was the same kind of grin that I would get from that evil old ogre, when he had eaten my dinner, or something else of mine, and I had to go without. I could not stay in there for long, and got back up here with Molly, who then started howling and wailing to go back down again. I let her down there, brought her back up, and got into bed, but she carried on howling and wailing… I had an awful night, and was awake early again. I fed Percy and George, gave George ham when I let her out, and gave Percy a saucer of ham and salmon before I got back up here out the way again. When I went back down there to make the coffee, Percy wanted to go out, and when I took my poor Mum’s coffee into one of the rooms for her, there was something waiting for me to get out of its snorting way… so up here I got yet again. I do hope that today will be quiet, but I doubt it very much. I love you Topsy, I love you so much little girl, and I miss you, I miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
