Good morning beautiful TopTops. It was raining all day again yesterday little girl, and even though the ogress had gone trundling off out before I went down there to the kitchen with Molly just before midday yesterday, I could not stay. The ogress could have come crashing through the big scary old door at any moment, and then accidentally let Molly out, as she always tries to do. I could have locked the big scary old door, but I had tried that before when she was home for four months. I had been wanting to clean Molly’s tray, and when she finally went trundling off to work, I went to clean Molly’s tray, and locked the big scary old door in case the ogress came back. I had hardly started when I heard her clumping along the old path, and then she tried to open the big scary old door. A normal odd human would have tried once, and then knocked… but not her, she kept shoving and shoving and shoving the big scary old door. Poor Molly was terrified, but I managed to get her out of the way, unlocked the door for the blasted ogress, and then got out of her snorting, twisty-mouthed, red-faced way so that she could shovel down more food. No matter what I do little girl, I always end up in her snorting way, even when she is not here. While I was down there yesterday, the cathousey thing that I ordered was delivered, and I have to put it together… which in a normal house would be fine, but normal houses do not have an ogress barging, charging, and snorting around in them. I am going to try to put it together later, but what with Molly being a curious as she is, I do not know if she will be wanting it. I cannot let her have it though, as it is to keep poor Percy and George warm and dry over winter. I had a good sleep last night, I only woke one, and when I woke up this morning it was pitch black… I thought that it was very early, and was just about to turn over and go back to sleep, when I looked at the time. I could not believe it, as it was time to get up, and I really did not wan to get out of bed. I did though, as it was still pouring down, and as I got dressed, Molly came to greet me, then settled down where I had been laying when I pulled the duvet thingy back. Poor Percy came running in when I opened the garden doors, but there was no sign of George… I called her and I called her, but she did not come along until I had closed the doors. I gave them both three packets of food each, and for once, I managed to stomach George, she did not even want any ham. I had to let her back out, but poor Percy stayed on Charlie’s chair by the scary old washing machine until I went back downstairs to make some coffee. I then had to get out of the ogresses snorting way, and as I tap this out, it has stopped raining, and the little birds are dining away out there in the gardens most beautifully. I have to go into town again tomorrow little girl, so I cannot come on here to Charlie and you, but I will be back on here the day after. All I wanted to buy myself were some more rolls and some mushroom soup… but already there is a list of stuff for me to bring back. I will be lucky if I am able to bring back soup and rolls… the list will probably be just long enough so that I will not be able to carry anything for myself. I have just looked at the date, and we are stuck with the ogress for another three weeks… and it will go as slowly as possible. We do love you TopTops, we love you so much little girl, and we miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
