Good morning beautiful Topsy. I was dreading what I might see when I went downstairs just before midday yesterday little girl. I had a feeling that the ogress would still be stuck here, and sat on one of the settees with her teeth sticking out, her arms folded, and waiting to be fed, but thankfully, she had gone trundling off out. It was so nice not having to get out of her snorting way as soon as I had gone down there, and Molly was galloping up and down the hallway and stairs. I made some coffee, and was able to go into a room to talk to my poor Mum and little sister… I stayed down there for a while, but had to come back up here in case she came crashing through the big scary old door. I cannot remember hearing her come crashing through the big scary old door though, but as soon as I heard a great big cakehole, and loud clumping and clomping, I knew that she was back, she must have come slithering back, expecting to catch me in one of the rooms. I had wanted to put a pie in the oven late yesterday afternoon, as I was starving, but of course, I could not. The ogresses lamb choppy things were sizzling away in there, and I did not want my pie cooking with meat, so I was going to have it last night instead. I could not though, as the great big piece of pork that I carried back from three towns away the other day was sizzling away in the oven, and my poor Mum had wanted to save that for over Christmas. There is enough there to feed a family of four for three days, but there will be none left by tomorrow. If the ogress is thinking that I will be going all the way there to buy another huge joint for her to slap down next Sunday, she is in for a big woolly surprise. I said to Charlie that the ogresses huge breakfast of eggs, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, fried bread, and bread and butter would be cooking away soon, and I can smell the eggs right now. Dopey daft me would like to have a chance to put a pie in the big old oven tonight, but I doubt that will happen, something will be in there. I was so hungry and angry last night that I could not sleep properly, I woke up about eight times during the night, and in the end, I got up very early this morning. It was earlier than I usually feed Percy and George, but I opened the garden doors anyway, and they both came galloping in. I gave them both a good feed, but of course, George was first to finish, and wanted more… I had to give her a load of ham, just to keep her away fro poor Percy’s food. If it was not impossible, I would swear that the ogress and George were related in some way. When poor Percy had finished, I let him out, George went out, I washed everything up, and then got back up here out of the ogresses snorting way. There was a nasty old scary thundering old thunderstorm while I was sitting here reading, it was so loud, I thought that it was san explosion. When I went back downstairs to make some drinks, the ogress was already sitting there waiting for me to get out of her way when I took my poor Mum’s coffee into one of the rooms for her… I had not even got sat down in here before she was thundering down the hallway. Still, at least I was able to feed Percy and George this morning. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you,so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
