Our brave little friend. Seeing as the ogress went trundling off out early today, I went down to the kitchen to feed the cats early... as usual, there was a load of stuff to go out to the bins, and when I opened the garden doors, Percy and George came barging in, but there was no sign of the Burmese cat, Jack, or Jenny anywhere. I had a good look around when I went out to the bins, but none came running up. When I went back inside, I opened three packets of something in gravy onto the big plate, added a load of biscuits, and put it down for them. While they were eating, I went out into the garden with a little rosebush to plant at Charlie's little resting place, and I could hear the Burmese cat crying, but could not see her. That big mouthed old dog over the back there was let out as I was planting Charlie's rosebush. Somehow it did not make me jump, so I did not swear at it, and when I got back to the kitchen doors, I could hear the Burmese cat again... but I still could not see her. Then I heard her scrambling over the big old gates, and I went over to lift her down, I do not know how she managed to get up there, as she had been coming to see us now for seventeen summers. The food was almost gone when I got back into the kitchen, and when Percy and George had finished, I let them out, and got the Burmese cat something to eat. Then I got shouted at to hurry up and get out of the way because the ogress was waiting for me to get out of the way so that she could go back out again... why I had to get out of the way I do not know, and when the Burmese cat had finished, I let her out, washed up, and got up here out of the way. Poor Jenny was not seen all afternoon, and I looked out for her when I went back down to the kitchen almost five hours after midday, but she was not out there. I bet that she is out there now though, along with the others, and they must be terrified with all those stupid fireworks going off. I will probably be awake early again in the morning, and I will look out for Jenny as soon as I get down to the kitchen. We do love you Toppy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
