Good morning brave Topsy. Of course it was pouring down when I went out yesterday morning little girl, it had not stopped when I got off the nasty old dirty scary bus, and it had not stopped when I came out of where I had to go… but at least I did not have to get any shopping. It was still pouring down when I got off the nasty old dirty scary bus at the end of the lane there, and I had to go to the chemist for my poor Mum, so I got soaked even more, but that did not matter. I was expecting poor Percy to come and meet me when I came splodging along to the big old gates, but he must have been sheltering somewhere. It had been raining since I had got up, and when I opened the garden doors, poor Percy was soaking… I cannot remember if George was wet, in fact I cannot even remember her running in, just that she was there. George wanted to go out after she had eaten, but Percy wanted to stay in, though as I had to go out, I could not let him. I felt so guilty putting him out when it was pouring down, but there would have only been a row, and I had to go out anyway. When I had got back here and dried off, I went down to the kitchen, and there was yet more stuff to go out there to the bins, of course, it was still pouring down when I opened the garden doors, and poor Percy came wowing up the garden. I did not care if there was a row, I let him in and gave him a saucer of food, but he was soon let out when I went to wash my hands in the downstairs bathroom. At least he had been allowed to finish his little bit of food, but I so wanted him to stay in and get warm by the nice big old oven. I overslept by forty minutes this morning, and when I got down to the kitchen and opened the garden doors, poor Percy flew in… though there was no sign of George anywhere. After I called and called, she eventually turned up, and I gave them both a good feed, which was eaten quickly. George wanted to go back out, but poor Percy had got onto Charlie's chair by the scary old washing machine, so I let him stay there until I came back down later to make some tea. I did not want to put him out then, but if he was there when my little sister came barging into the kitchen, there would have been trouble… poor Percy, he has never done anything wrong, and he must be missing poor Jenny terribly, I do try to keep him in for as long as I possibly can. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
