Good morning brave Topsy. It was very cold yesterday little girl, and it must have been cold for dopey daft me to mention it, I even got that tatty old jumper of mine out to wear. It smelt though, I do not know why, but I had to put it in the scary old washing machine to give it a good wash. I had a good sleep last night little girl, I only woke up twice, and when I woke this morning, I had overslept by an hour… I forgot to look out there into the garden for the cats when I got down there into the kitchen. I did look out there into the garden when I went back down to make some tea, and poor Percy was curled up asleep at Jack's little waiting place. I could not let him in though, as I had Molly with me, and I had wanted to let him and Jenny in yesterday when I went down to the kitchen just before midday, but I could not. The kitchen floor had been washed, and they would have brought leaves and mud in with them… I have not seen so many fallen leaves out there in the gardens for a very long time. I have to leave here early in the morning to go down to the doctors little girl, so I will not be able to come on here to you and Charlie until the day after. When I have finished at the doctors, I then have to go into town to buy more food… I have to get my dopey daft self stuff, but I also have to buy more chickeny stuff. I spent a lot of money on shopping last week, but as soon as I buy chicken, my little sister cooks and eats it, and I have to go out and get more without being asked. The lot that I am buying tomorrow will have to last, if it is cooked and eaten before next weekend, she is going to have to wait, or go and buy it herself.
