William 22nd March 2024

Good morning beautiful Topsy. I am so sorry for not coming on here for nearly two weeks little girl, I have only just said to Charlie that I thought it was last week. I have had so much to do little girl, and on top of all that, I am feeling absolutely awful, even writing is making me feel unwell. We laid our poor Mum to rest last week little girl, you are probably rubbing yourself around her legs as I type this out. When we went into town, the sky was as black as evening, but it then cleared away, and it got a lot brighter. For some reason, after I had paid for everything, I was told that the service could not be held in a chapel, so we had to read hymns and sing around the resting place. We started at an hour to midday, then as we were stood there, it came over all dark, and it started pouring down, with high winds as well. Our sheets of paper were blown from away, the poem that my sister was reading was blown away, then she lost her footing on the uneven ground. We all then got a thoroughly good soaking, I could not believe it. As soon as the service was over, it stopped raining, and the clouds went away, and we walked to a pub to drink to our poor Mum. While we were in there, it rained even harder, we only stayed a couple of hours, then we came home. It was not a nice day little girl, but at last, our poor Mum was laid to rest with her beloved father. I went back to the cemetery two days later, and left here early, and I had to walk the same way as I did when I was walking all that way when I was visiting my poor Mum last year. Of course, when I here, I got about as far as cowboy bobs, when it started raining, and I got soaked. When I got down the bottom of that steep, winding old hill, I had to go another way to the cemetery, but when I got to my Mum and grandfathers resting place, it was raining so hard, I could not do anything. I had brought bread to feed those birds in that big beautiful park that I used to walk through on the way home, and then cut through another cemetery. I was going to walk through there, but could not, as it was shut. I had to walk the same way as I walked when I was visiting my poor Mum, only it was light, an not pitch-black. I fed the birds, and by then, it had stopped raining, and the other cemetery was open, so I took a short-cut through to the other one. I was able to go to the cemetery where my Mum and grandfather are, and spend a while there, then I headed back here. I took my time, as I knew that the dementor would be gobbling down its huge breakfasts, and I got here not long before midday, but it was still chomping away. If that was not enough, it shovelled down a great roasted dinner as well… me, I had three crumpets and two slices of cake while the dementor was out. I had to hurry that up as well, as I could have got caught, and it would have wanted to know where its share was. I thought I would have been writing to Tiddles and you every day by now little girl, but somedays I feel so unwell, I forget to write to Charlie… I am even forgetting to write to my friends. I will try to get back on here to you in a couple of days little girl, but if I do not, I will be back next week. I love you Topsy, I love you so much little girl, and I miss you, I love you and I miss you so much you beautiful, brave little girl. XxX
