Good morning beautiful Topsy. I am sorry for forgetting again little girl, but the blasted heat has been worse this week than it was last week, and we had a great thundering old thunderstorm two mornings ago… I was just about to leave when it started. I could have done with a good old soaking, but with great flashes of lightning flying around the skies, knowing what happens to me when I am walking along, it would have probably struck me. I had to wait nearly an hour before I could leave here. I only had an hour to get to the hospital, so I could not walk through that big beautiful park. On a normal day, I can walk home in fifty minutes, but even though there had just been a big old thunderstorm, it was hot again just as I got down the end of that long old road. It was all right going through that park with all the magpies, but as soon as I stepped out of the park, to a road that was clear a few seconds before, along came a herd of nasty old scary cars, and the roads were flooded too. I cannot remember how long it took me to get across the flooded road little girl, but me seeing how many steps I could do in an hour, had gone right out of the window. I felt awful again yesterday morning little girl, as I had been told to take double the medication for my blood-pressure, as it is so high, but it made me feel dreadful all day… at least it was normal when I had a test this morning. The walk into town was nice, but it was even nicer when I got to the shop, as it was freezing in there, and almost empty. I did not want to leave there, then when I stepped back outside, the rotten old stinking heat hit me like a plank of wood around the back of my head. I had three bottles of Vimto, and other heavy things in my backpack, three very awkward bags, and a bag with a great box of catfood in it… getting back here was absolutely awful. I was so glad when I got to the big old gates, but as I went to unlock the garden doors, the kitchen lights were suddenly blazing away, as something had just gone barging in there. I had to pick everything up, and go round to the big scary old door, and when I had opened that, somethings odd cart was stuck right behind it. I was not very happy little girl, especially as I could not put the shopping away, and had to get up here out of the way. I had to wait over an hour until it went trundling off to see our poor Mum before I could put the shopping away. Our poor Mum might be home next week, if something can be bothered to clear all of its rubbish out of the way. It has had about a month to do so, and expects my little sister to help it… it did not ask, it told her, just like that evil old ogre used to do. I am having a rest today little girl, it is how I am able to come on here to Charlie and you, if everything goes all right tomorrow, I might be able to come on here when I get home. You never know, it might be absolutely freezing in the morning, with a lot of snow, I certainly would enjoy myself then. I love you so much Topsy, I do love you little girl, and I do miss you, I miss you so much too you beautiful, brave, clever little girl. XxX
