Good morning beautiful Topsy. It carried on raining all morning yesterday, and George was crying, but there was nothing that I could do until I got down there just before midday. Even then, something was waiting for me to get out the way, but I opened the garden doors, and George ran inside… there was still no sign of poor Percy. I gave George a tin of Percy’s salmon with a melting heart, and when she had licked the plate clean, she went straight back out. Just as I was taking my poor Mum’s tea to her, George started crying again, so I threw a big lump of ham out there to her, washed my hands, gave my poor Mum her tea, then got up here out the way again. I thought that a load of fireworks would have been let off all afternoon, but none were, though it did start just after I got up here with some carrot cake last night. Not long after, a herd of old trollops were out there in the lane, snorting and giggling as they let off a load of very loud fireworks. It went on and on, and when I went down there to get out the way with Molly last night, I had to give her some flea treatment. I do not know how she knew, but she did, as when I picked her up, she back-peddled all she could, but I managed to give her the treatment. When I put her on the floor, she ran out of the kitchen, flew up the hallway, up the stairs, and came racing in here… when I got in here, she was washing herself, and completely ignored me, even when I shook her tub of biscuits. She did not even come over when I put biscuits on her plate, and waited until I was getting in bed before going there for them. I think I had a good night, I woke up a few times as usual, but I woke up this morning at the same time as yesterday, and had overslept by ten minutes. Molly was there, waiting for me to get out of her way so that she could lay down, and when I got down there to the kitchen, George was crying loudly at the garden doors… and it was pouring down again. George flew in when I opened the doors, and I looked for poor Percy, but he was not there. I gave George two packs of food, then another two when she had finished, then when she went to the garden doors, I opened them for her. It was still pouring down, so she turned around, and went under Charlie’s chair by the scary old washing machine, so I left her there with some food still on her plate. I went back down there to see her, and she was still under the chair, but she wanted to go out when I made the coffee. The rain had eased off, so I put her food out there with her, but by the time it took me to go in the hallway, and then come back, it had started pouring down again. I looked out there, but there was no sign of Percy or George, so I took my poor Mum her coffee, where something was waiting for me to get out the way, and I got back up here. Molly, who had ignored me since I had got up, was waiting on the arm of the chair, and would not stop wowing until I gave her some biscuits. I gave her some, and when she had finished, she went off over there somewhere… she usually lays near me, or nearby, but I cannot see her anywhere, and is going to be like this for days now. I will try to give George some more food at midday, though I shall have to be quick. I wonder when the nuttiness will start today. I love you Topsy, and I miss you too little girl. XxX
