1st October 2022

Good morning beautiful Topsy. It stayed dark nearly all day yesterday little girl, and I was pleased to see that poor Percy was still in when I got down there to the kitchen just before midday. I was not pleased for long though, as just after I had let Percy out, it started to pour down, and of course, something was waiting for me to get out of their way. Molly was crying and crying in the kitchen, but I did not know what she wanted, but after I had gotten up here out the way, I found out. Molly went ploughing straight in her tray, it was truly awful, but I could not go down there to get the spade thing, as something’s rules and regulations state that I cannot go back down there until the late afternoon. I keep meaning to buy a spade when I go shopping, but I keep forgetting, I even forget to write it down… though I have just done it, but I bet that I forget the list next week. Tiddles food had still not arrived, and I had ordered something else that was supposed to be here early yesterday. By the time that I went down there late yesterday afternoon, they still had not arrived, and by then, I was very hungry, and was going to have a bowl of noodles last evening… but of course, that was not going to happen. Just before I was going to go down there to get the noodles ready, someone knocked on the door about twenty times, and knocked even more before I could get down there. It was Tiddles food, and it was strapped together with strong old tie things. The boxes had thick old stickers stopping me from opening the boxes, and they were thick cardboard. By the time that I had opened a box, got some out for last evening, and put the rest away, something was waiting for me to get out the way so that it could come rolling down the hallway. I had just enough time to get myself a hot drink, then back up here I had to get… though it had made sure that it had had a good feed, and had gobbled down one of the pies that I had bought my poor Mum, with a whole bag of chips. When I went down there to give Tiddles her chicken soup, I managed to get four babybel cheeses from the fridge before I had to get out of something’s way again. When I went down there to get out the way with Molly last night, I got back up here as quickly as I could, and wanted to get in bed… but Molly decided to have one of her turns. She was galloping around the room, jumping in and out of the window, and putting her paw out there to grab on the branches swaying around in the wind. It was only then that I realised that there was a storm blowing around out there, so I closed the big window, and got in bed. I hoped I would have a good night, and I was soon asleep, then soon awake, then I was woken at the usual time. After that, I kept waking up, then woke up early this morning. I remembered the storm, got up, and went straight down there to open the garden doors, where poor Percy came running inside. I called George as I took stuff out to the bins, and she soon came crying. I gave them their food, let George out with a lot of ham when she had finished, gave poor Percy his usual, then got out of the way for the first time today. I went back down there to see Percy a couple of times, and when I took my poor Mum her coffee, I had to get out the way again. Poor Percy had cleared his plate, so I gave him another packet of food before I got back up here out the way. The little squirrels are making a lot of noise out there, and so are the magpies, but I have not heard the old crows yet. It is nice hearing those noises out there, though I am expecting it all to be stopped by the great big mouth of that lunatic from over there. It was quiet again yesterday, which is very strange, so strange in fact, that I am expecting a big mouth to start at any moment. I cannot see it being quiet this weekend, if it is, then I will be severely surprised. I love you Topsy, and I miss you too little girl. XxX
