Good morning beautiful Topsy. Yesterday was another awful day little girl, but it was nothing to do with that crosseyed, homemade, bolt-necked, twenty-six toed, three-armed, two-tailed, red-eyed lunatic, as it was the quietest it has been for a long time. The rotten odd heat was awful, even with fans whizzing away, it was roasting in here… as something had insisted on having roast chicken dinners. I have not had one for so long, I cannot remember, but I know it was roast beef, and the old ogre had wanted it. He got his own way when I had it before, as he had jumped up and down slapping his big fat legs until he had got all his own way, but that time he did not get all of his own way. I had to get out of his way so quickly, I had forgotten the mustard, and I went back down there to the kitchen to get it, he was waiting in the hallway, and snatched my mustard out of my hand, and told me that he hoped I choked on it. I said before that I thought the last time was the last time I ate meat, but it must have been then. I did choke on it, but it was because I was so hungry, as I had not eaten for about four days, not even biscuits on a morning, as he was been home, and would have caught me eating. He broke every dinner plate, and when he saw me, he knew I had choked, and told me that it would teach me to be greedy. All that, coming from someone who would take food from my poor Mum’s and my plates because they were still hungry after shovelling down a huge dinner that was bigger than my Mum’s, my sisters, and mine put together. When I went down there late yesterday afternoon, something was already clanging its shovel and garden-fork together, and licking its overgrown eyebrows in anticipation of gobbling down huge roast chicken dinners. That meant I had to get back up here after only being down there a few minutes, and I am so tired, I cannot even remember if Molly was with me. I had to get out of the way quickly when I went down there for the evening, I had just enough time to see to Molly, then up here I had to get. I was so hot, I could not be bothered to have any carrot cake, and only had some of that when I went back down there to give Tiddles her chicken soup. By then I was hungry, and apart from a few biscuits on a morning with my coffee, carrot cake is all I ate last week. It was still very hot when I went down there to get out of the way with Molly last night, and as I got out of something’s snorting way, I brought a milkshakey thing up with me, and the bottle soon got warm. I had an awful night little girl, and somehow woke up in bed again, and it was a right old mess. Molly was at the big old window, and when I got down there and opened the garden doors, there was no Percy or George. I called for them, and George came bounding along, I opened the big old gates for poor Percy, and they both came in with me. I gave them their food, but I think George ate the most, and when I went to let her out, she refused to go… I think that I have just realised why. I think she wanted another packet of food, I might be wrong, I waved ham under her nose, threw it out for her, but she refused to go. I could not give poor Percy his usual, or George would have eaten it, so he had to wait, and she still did not want to go out when I went down there to make the coffee. I had to let her out then though, as something was already waiting for me to get out its barging way, and she was not very happy about it at all… at least poor Percy could have his usual though. Something was stuck on the end of a settee, looking like a stuffed walrus, when I took my poor Mum’s coffee in to her, but I still went back down to the kitchen to see poor Percy before getting back up here. I was hoping that Molly would come flying out of the door when I opened it, but she did not, so I just fell in this chair. According to those lying weather people, it is supposed to be thundering and lightning right now, so I had a look, and it has been moved to an hour after midday. They are paid tens of thousands for telling lies little girl, but then again, so are a lot more people. We need a lot of rain, and not just us odd humans, all the lawns are dry and yellow, the great big green is yellow, and all those poor trees are thirsty too… I hope it comes today. I love you Topsy, I love you so much little girl, and I miss you, I miss you so much too little girl. XxX
