Good morning beautiful Topsy. I waited and waited to be allowed downstairs yesterday morning, and that big lump took as long as it could before going trundling off out, another trick handed down from that evil old ogre… still, it did unknowingly do me a favour. When I eventually got out of here, it had come over all dark, and the walk into town was not as nice as it usually is, and the big old shoppy place was full of blokes shopping for the first time in ages. I could not get the ham that I have been buying for Percy and George, I forgot to get those posh goldy tins of salmon, I forgot to get carrot cakes, and I even forgot the two great big pigging bags of chips that I had been told to get just before I left. I went back for the chips after I had paid for the shopping, and I still forgot the goldy tins of catfood and the carrot cakes… still, as long as there are plenty of chips to shovel down, everything will be fine. As I left the big old shoppy place, it had gotten light, and had been absolutely pouring down, it was just stopping as I got out there… I knew there would be rain, even though I had looked at the weathery things, and they all said there would be none. I had to stop off on the way home to get my tablets, and after I had put the shopping away, I got up here, and waited until I was allowed back down there to the kitchen in the late afternoon. Of course, just as it was about time for me to go down there to the kitchen, something came crashing through the big scary old door, and that is another trick handed down from the evil old ogre, he was always doing that one to me. I was very hungry by the time that I went down there for my dinner, and had noodles again last evening… I had to give Molly her flea treatment last night as well, she was furious with me, and has not spoken to me since. I had another awful night, I was hoping for a lie in, but of course, that did not happen. I gave Percy and George two packets of food each, but neither of them ate much, so I put it outside for that little black kitten. I let George out with some ham, gave poor Percy some ham, and got back up here out of the way. The rubbishy blokes have only just been, I thought that they had just gone past as they usually do, but thankfully, they were just three hours late. That saucer of food had been eaten, but I do not know who by, it could have been that screaming lunatic for all I know, there was just a few bits left, with filthy odd bluebottles the size of Molly buzzing around. Something was not very pleased with me going into the kitchen to bring the wheelie binny thingy round, but I had to do it, as nobody else could be bothered. Anyway, a flat-headed, two-left-footed, green-toothed, stitched-around-the neck, two-tailed, lizard-lipped, growling thing would have nicked it just as they did the other bin, and we had to wait weeks for a new one. I love you Topsy, I love you so much little girl, and I miss you, I miss you so much you beautiful, brave little girl. XXXXX
