Good morning beautiful Topsy. The delivering bloke arrived earlier than he should have yesterday little girl, and in a normal house, I could have gone to the big scary old door, and brought everything in… but this is not a normal house. I did not want to risk being barged out of the way and trampled on, though my poor Mum did ask my little sister to help bring the shopping in, as something was getting ready for ‘work,’ and was wallowing in the bathroom. She did not get the chance though, as somethings back legs mysteriously fixed themselves, and she was barged out of the way by something very large and hairy. When it finally went trundling off out for another great feed, I was allowed down there to put the shopping away. The shopping had all just been dumped in the kitchen, had I been allowed down there, I could have put it all away, but nope, I had to wait, and it took me over an hour to put it all away. With all the food that was already in the freezer, I had bought enough pies and pork chops to keep a normal family going for at least two months, but I doubt it will last two weeks. When I first started working, and was eating meat, I would have a certain chicken pie that I liked, with mashed spud and peas for my dinner when I got home from work. I can still buy those pies, but now something else grabs then and gobbles most of them down. My poor Mum told me yesterday that three pies are now gobbled down at once. I could not believe it, but then I remembered that the evil old ogre and something else once gobbled down six of my cod in butter sauce between them. That included a huge amount of mashed spud and peas… and were still looking around for more when they had finished. I was muttered at and called a greedy pig if I was caught with my small dinner though. I had bought Molly some chickeny paté stuff, gave her one of them last night, and her plate was almost cleared this morning. Dopey daft me had a bowl of mushroom and stilton soup for my dinner last night, though had I ever been caught with that, I would have been called a greedy pig as well. Come to think of it, I would not have been caught with it, as the evil old ogre would have made sure that he grabbed the soup and the cheese to gobble down. George came wailing at the garden doors while I was putting the shopping away, and I fed her, but cannot remember what I gave her. She also came wailing at the garden doors when I was getting my soup ready late yesterday afternoon, something was waiting for me to get out of the way, but I could not ignore George. I could not ignore George, even if I wanted to, she wails so loudly that it goes right through me, I cannot remember hearing a cat like her. I do not know what kind of night I had, but I slept for around the same time as yesterday, and when I got up this morning, I went to feed Percy and George. I gave them their food, let George out with ham, gave Percy his usual, then got up here out of the way. I had to get out of the way even quicker when I went back down to make the coffee, I could hear somethings great big green-toothed cakehole moaning that I was in its snorting way while I was in the hallway. I just had enough time to feed poor Percy before I had to get out of the way, and he was shoved out not long after… his little bit of food was probably grabbed and gobbled down as well. I think that I will deliberately keep the spoilt coo waiting in the morning, the wild trumpeting and angry snorting that I hear will certainly make me feel better. I love you Topsy, and I do miss you, you beautiful brave little girl. XxX
