Good mornings little girl. I did not like having to put poor Percy out early yesterday so that odd thingy could slap down a huge plateful of fried things, but I felt even worse when I went back down there just before midday, as it had been snowing. I looked out there into the gardens for Percy and George, but I could not see them, and odd thingy was already waiting for me to get out of its snorting, gobbling, growling, ohh-ohh-arring, neighing way. I have only just remembered playing the music to a program called black beauty when I was younger whenever odd thingy went charging down the hallway, snorting like an old bull… it made my little sister laugh, I am pretty sure that I would have got a severe beating for it. I just had enough time to go into the downstairs bathroom to wash my hands, then make my poor Mum her coffee, before I had to get back up here again. Odd thingy was not even going trundling out, yet I still had to get out of the way, and thundering along the hallway it was just after I had got sat down here. I had wanted egg salad rolls in the evening, but it was so cold, I thought that a nice hot bowl of mushroom and stilton soup would be much better, and it was just as well. I would have been tutted at, muttered at, moaned, and snorted at had I wanted to use one of the burny things on the nice big old oven. Huge chickens were being roasted for yesterday’s dinner, I forgot to ask if some chicken could be saved for Molly, Percy, and George… but I doubt anything was left, even the bones would probably been gone. I had to get out of the way quickly when I went back downstairs late yesterday afternoon, and again when I went back down for Molly’s food and my soup last evening. I even had to get out the way when I took Molly down to see my poor Mum early last night. It was terribly cold up here little girl, even for me, and I was worried about poor Percy and George… at least the tiny black cat has got somewhere to go. I had a good sleep, though I was awake a couple of times, and woke up very early this morning. I could have gone back to sleep in my nice warm bed, but I was worried about Percy and George, so I got up, opened the curtains, was greeted by Molly, and I staggered off downstairs. I heard mutterings yesterday morning when I got to the bottom of the stairs, but there was nothing this morning, and when I opened the garden doors, poor Percy came galloping in… though I had to call for George. I gave them both a good feed, followed by loads of ham, and I gave George a load more when I had to let her out. I would have liked to keep her in, but she and Percy fight, they would mess the kitchen up, and damage our Louis XIV fridge-freezery thingy. I left Percy with a saucerful of ham, and got back up here out of the way. When I went back down to make some tea, someone had guzzled down all the Cravendale blue that I had bought, leaving just a drop in the bottle, and I had bought four great big bottles. There was none left, so I went to make coffee instead, and an empty tin of cream had also been left in there, which made me angry. I cannot help it little girl, it reminds me of the old ogre when he would just help himself to my marmite or jam, and he would scrape out the jar, then leave it for me to find when I wanted it. He would then grin like a deranged clown, and that is why I had to start hiding things from him… and I still have to hide things, only now I forget where I hid them, it is ridiculous. I wanted to let George in to get warm, but of course, I could not do that. Odd thingy was waiting for me to get out of her blasted way, I had just enough time to make the coffee, get some biscuits from the fridge, then up here I had to get, which made me even angrier. I will try to let George in when I have to let poor Percy out just before midday, and if odd thingy is snorting away like an old bull waiting for me to get out of its blasted way, it can snort away as long as it wants too. We do love you TopTops, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
