Good morning beautiful TopTops. Yesterday was a lot better little girl than the past few days have been, that was when the ogress had finally left here anyway… and she left it as long as she could before she went trundling off. She even made herself late, just because she knew that I wanted to get down there to the kitchen, and that was one of the old ogres favourite tricks when I was a kid. I looked out there into the garden when I got down there to the kitchen, and the saucer of food that I had left out there had been cleared, though I do not know if poor Percy managed to eat it, or if George came along and ate it. It was nice to be able to take my time making some tea, then spending some time talking to my poor Mum before I had to get back up here… of course, it was not long before the ogress had come clumping back. While I was down there I the kitchen, I got some soup ready for the evening, as it would save time in the late afternoon, as the ogress would be waiting for me to get out of her way then too. When I got back down there in the late afternoon, I just had enough time to get a drink ready for the evening, then out of her snorting way I had to get yet again. It still was not enough though, all I had to do was heat the soup, but I was still in the ogresses way. Down the hallway she was thundering before I had even got sat down here, I even had to get out of her way when I took Molly downstairs to see my poor Mum last night… I was glad to get into bed, though that was not much good for me. I had a terrible night little girl, I kept waking up so many times that I have forgot how many, and I was awake early again this morning. I was so tired that I just laid there until it was time to get up, and I did not want to then. When I got down there to the kitchen, I opened the garden doors, and poor Percy came running in, then George. I gave them both a good feed, with loads of ham, for George anyway, and then Percy got onto Charlie’s chair by the big old oven… I then let George out, and got out of the way before I was run over by a trundling wild ogress. I had to let poor Percy out when I went back down to make some tea, and then I had to get out of the ogresses way again. We will have another break from her tomorrow, then that will be it until next week. I am wondering if I could sell her to the arabs, I would even pay them to take her away, but then again, I would hate to think what they would do to me when they found out what she is like. She would eat them out of house and home before the week was out… maybe she will run off with someone from the circus when they come to town next. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
