Good morning beautiful TopTops. I wanted to go downstairs to look for George yesterday, but of course, the ogress was thundering up and down the hallway like a poor old bull that had trapped its dangly bits in a gate. She went slithering out long before I went down there to the kitchen just before midday, and for some reason, she had gone quietly, I had not even heard a thing… no slammed big scary old door, and no clattering along the paths. Of course, I could not stay down there in the kitchen for long, in case she came crashing through the big scary old door. Molly was up here, curled up in the back of her catcave, but the ogress still sometimes manages to come crashing through the big scary old door when I am level with it, and I did not fancy a broken back, ribs, legs, arms, fingers, toes, nose, and whatever else she would manage break. I cannot remember what time that she got back here, but I could not go back down there until the late afternoon. I had a quick look for George, and then had to get back up here out of the way… I would have liked some mushroom soup for last evening, but I could not even get that ready. I had to make do with a couple of cheese rolls, and then I had to get back up here, as she was waiting to come thundering down the hallway. When I got into bed last night, Molly came out of her catcave, and went off over there somewhere. I do not know how long it took me to fall asleep, as I was worried about George… but I think I had a good sleep. I was awake this morning around the same time as I was yesterday, and when I got down there to the kitchen, poor Percy came running in when I opened the garden doors… there was no sign of George. I called her and I whistled for her, and then I heard her come whirring up the garden… I was so pleased to see her when she came galloping into the kitchen. I gave them both a good feed, but neither of them ate much, George did not even eat much ham. When I let her back out, I left poor Percy on Charlie’s chair by the oven, and got back up here out of the way. I left it as late as I could before I went back downstairs to make some coffee, as I then had to let Percy out. I put a saucer of ham out there with him, and he started to eat it, but I had to make the coffee quickly, then get out of the ogresses way, as she was waiting to go thundering down the hallway. I will have another look out there into the garden when I am allowed back downstairs just before midday… that is if I get the time, old mother snortington will probably be waiting for me to get out of her way yet again. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
