Good morning Toppy. I did not have a very good night little girl, Molly kept me awake by scratching and trying to move a box that I put to the wall to stop her from getting to the scary old sparky thing that is nailed to the wall. She already ruined one box that I put there, but the other box is thicker and stronger... she has already had five attempts to get through it. The scratching that I heard while I was in a deep sleep was terrible, I had no idea where it was coming from, and when I woke up and got out of bed, Molly went whirring off over there to the fireplace. It was far to cold to chase her, so I got back into bed, and fell back to sleep. Then she did it again, and it took me ages to get back to sleep again, and when I woke up, I had overslept by fifty-five minutes. I forgot to look out there into the garden for the cats when I got down to the kitchen, and I forgot to look out there for them when I went back down to make some tea and coffee. There was a big fat pig-eon in the tree, and it was shovelling down as much seed as its greedy fat face would allow it, and it stayed there while I unlocked and opened the garden doors... then the big fat thing flapped off. It was soon back with one of its even fatter, even greedier mates, but I managed to squirt them both in their greedy fat faces. I could not stay long, as I had to get out of the ogresses way, and they came back when I got up here... all I had to do was shut the big old window, and they flew away again. All I have heard since has been the beautiful little birds singing out there, much better than greedy odd cooing. The ogress will be trundling off soon, so I have no idea when I will be able to get down to the kitchen, but I want to bring that big bucket in again... those greedy fat selfish things are getting to me like they did in the summer, and then they were emptying the bucket in a day then. We do love you Toppy, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
