Good morning Toppy. I have at last remembered to put you on this new place, I am so sorry that I kept forgetting little girl. I was telling Charlie how quiet that it had been so far this week, but all that has now ended with hammering and banging from over the back there, and now some dogs have just started howling and crying. I was awake early yesterday morning with the coughing and the spluttering, and I was awake early this morning as well, so I opened the garden doors to let the cats in when I got down to the kitchen. None came galloping in though, so I went out there into the dark garden, and George came bounding up out of nowhere... I almost fell backwards onto Jack's little waiting place. When I had recovered, Jenny came running up, but there was no sign of the Burmese cat or Percy, and then I smelt the puffings of a certain evil old swamp-witch puffing on her pipe, it was the usual smell, the disgusting stench of shredded lorry tires filled the air, or that is what I imagine is the kind of filthy odd tobacco that it puts in its odd pipe. She must have been watching me from over there at the fence, I could not hear any cackling or screeching, I just knew that it was there by the stench. the ogress will be going trundling out soon, so I am hoping that I can get down to the kitchen to feed the Burmese cat, Percy, and Jack... we have not seen Jack now since Sunday, so he will be very hungry. We do love you Toppy, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
