William 1st April 2020

Good morning beautiful Topsy. I am feeling depressed right now little girl, as something is going on where we have to save food, but the ogress is gobbling down more than I can bring home. Last week I got two pieces of pork for Sunday dinner, two packs of sausages, bacon, eggs, and mushrooms for Sunday breakfast, and a few things for dopey daft odd me. Of course, I bought the wrong sausages, so the ogress gobbled them all down with mushrooms and eggs, and the day before yesterday, I bought more wrong sausages again. She gobbled them down last night, along with a whole tins of beans, and that was on top of the half a loaf of bread she had toasted yesterday morning with half a tub of butter slapped on top, and she was still gobbling down last night. I have to go back into town to try to get something for my Mum and little sister tomorrow, and if I cannot get the right stuff, I will not be bringing anything home… I cannot bare it to see the ogress walloping down anything else that I bring home. All I had yesterday was a small bag of crisps with some thing slices of blue cheese… I did have a bowl of leek and potato soup and two buttered rolls last evening, but as I finished the soup, a small piece of potato got stuck in my throat, and I brought the whole lot up. When I was a kid I saw the old ogre stick his fork into a whole roast spud, wrap some meat around it, stick it in his big cakehole, and after a few chomps, swallow it, then carry on shovelling. It was not something I wanted to watch, but it only lasted a few seconds, and after that, I did not sit at the dinner table again… and that is how the ogres eats as well, it is similar to feeding time at the zoo, and I say similar, but the animals have more manners. Seeing as I have to go into town again, I will not be able to come on here to Charlie and you, but I will be back the day after little girl. I overslept again this morning, and when I got down to the kitchen, there were more tins and stuff from the ogress. When I had taken all that out yet again, I fed poor Percy and George, and when George had finished, I let her out, and gave poor Percy another packet of food. I had to let him back out when I went back down to make some coffee, and even then, I had to be quick, and get out of the ogresses snorting way. I have heard her clattering around the kitchen, so when I go back down there just before midday, I am dreading on what I am going to find. The way she is going, she is going to drive me out of my mind. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
