Good morning beautiful Topsy. I wanted to be able to give poor Percy and Jenny some sliced chicken when I went down to the kitchen just before midday yesterday, but of course I could not. As soon as I got down there, I had to get back up here out of the way, I just had enough time to look out there into the garden and see poor Percy and Jenny huddled up together by the big old gates. I went back down there four hours later, opened the garden doors… and they both came running in all wet and meowy. I broke up half a packet of sliced chicken onto the big plate for them, and it was gone in seconds… then I had to let them back out, as someone wanted to come into the kitchen. No matter what time I go down downstairs, I manage to get in someone's way, and stop them from doing something, and I have to get out of their way, just as I did with the old ogre. The ogress is going trundling off out soon, but when I go down to the kitchen just before midday, I will still be in someone else's way. Of course, when I am stuck up here, there is nobody down there in the kitchen, it is only when I dare go out of here, that I get in someone's way. At least I had a good nights sleep last night little girl, and did not manage to be in anyone's way doing that… I must have fallen asleep straight away when I got into bed last night, I only woke twice, and when I woke this morning, I had overslept by fifty minutes. Of course, I forgot to look out there into the garden for cats when I got down there. I did have a look when I went back down to make some tea, and poor Percy and Jenny were huddled together by the big old gates. I only had enough time to make the tea before having to get out of the way, I think that the ogress has already gone trundling off out, but that will not stop me from being in the way when I got down to the kitchen just before midday… I dread going down there sometimes. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
