Good morning Top Tops. That big fat greedy, long-necked, beady-eyed, persistent, selfish odd pig-eon had to be shooed away at least twenty times yesterday, and that is when one of us saw it. It just will not go away, and even though Jenny almost caught it last week, the scrounging odd thing still comes back… it must be as daft as a brush. I was awake very early yesterday morning, and I was awake very early this morning too, even though it is much cooler, I am still having awful nights. I want to be awake early tomorrow so that I can feed the cats… I could not feed them this morning because a bloke was supposed to be here to fix the big scary old door, as rainwater is coming through. They said that he would be here either very early, or later, but he would be here during the morning, and at the latest, and hour after midday. When I was at school, and hour after midday was in the afternoon, but that has probably been all changed around by now. I remember reading somewhere a few years ago, some idiot had decided that three hours after midday was in the evening, it was so weird, and annoyed me so much, and that is how I can remember it. I went down to the kitchen to make some tea much earlier than normal this morning, hoping that I would not get in the ogresses way, and that she should still be in bed snoring like an old elk… but of course, I still got in her snorting, hoof scraping way. She had gone and got up, turned the lights on wherever she could, and went trundling into the room where my poor Mum would be going to drink her tea. Each day seems to get worse little girl, when I get up early tomorrow to feed the cats, I will probably be in her way then as well… all this from someone who used to get up two hours before midday. It was raining a while ago, but of course it has now stopped, and it feels like it is getting warmer, still this time next month, we will be half way towards October. We do love you Topsy, we love you so much little girl, and we do miss you, we miss you so much you beautiful brave little girl. XXXXX
